COVID-19 Requirements and Updates

At Armstrong Yoga we are taking the necessary precautions to provide a safe studio environment and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please note the following safety protocols.

Yoga classes are offered at a reduced capacity of 10 people to allow for sufficient social distance.

  • As of September 22, 2021, you will need to provide proof of vaccination to access the studio until further notice from the Ontario government. You will only need to provide proof once.
  • Requesting all clients register for classes to ensure your spot in class.
  • Drop ins are permitted. You will be registered upon entry if there is space available.
  • Masks required. You may remove your mask during your yoga practice.
  • Please do not enter the studio if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and/or if you are feeling unwell. 
  • Please arrive only 5 to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time
  • Please arrive ready to participate. You must bring a yoga mat and any other items you require to enjoy your yoga session. 
  • Arrive at the studio, sanitize your hands, answer the screening questions and enjoy your yoga session.

Are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (has it been 14 days or more since your final dose of either a two-dose or a one-dose vaccine series)?  Be prepared to provide proof of vaccination when checking in at the studio. We will only request this on your first visit.

Do you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough 
  • Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
  • Sore throat 
  • Difficulty swallowing 
  • Runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion
  • Decrease or loss of smell or taste 
  • Headache
  • Digestive issues like nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain 
  • Muscle aches/joint pain
  • Extreme tiredness 

In the last 14 days, have you travelled outside of Canada?

In the last 14 days, have you been identified as a “close contact” of someone who currently has COVID-19?

Has a doctor, health care provider, or public health unit told you that you should currently be isolating (staying at home)?
